Who is Jake Paul?
Jake Joseph Paul, the social media star, commonly known by his YouTube username, Jake Paul, is a YouTuber who has earned over 9 million subscribers and 1.7 billion views to his channel since moving from Vine to YouTube. His self-titled channel called JakePaulProductions where he posts comedy sketches, pranks, vlogs, and songs. He is one of the most followed and viewed people on Vine along with his older brother, Logan and he has one of the fastest growing channels on the site right now. Before being an internet phenomenon, he was a competitive wrestler and he trained to be a Navy Seal. He got the nickname “One Take Jake” for his ability to nail difficult scenes in only one take.
He has acted for YouTube Red and playing “Dirk” in the Disney channel comedy, “Bizaardvark” before getting dropped out of the cast due to controversies surrounding vandalism and both thinking Jake should move on.
Jake was beloved when he was on Vine through 3 years and after he faced huge criticism from his videos when he started to do YouTube full time.
Jake has been accused of starting unnecessary drama, doing things to people he wouldn’t like to get done to him, click baiting, appearing arrogant, mean and obnoxious alongside friends who also isn’t well liked by some in the YouTube community.
Jake has gotten away with doing stunts and vandalizing property several times. Many people think Jake’s aspiration was risky and ignorant and he should be responsible for his actions.
Paul has also been criticized for making scripts for his videos instead of sensible talking to the camera. And he seems cringy, especially when Jake uploads a new music video to his channel.
Jake uploaded a music video titled “It’s Everyday Bro”. The video is about how his success and fame and fortune continues while he is climbing above haters who are jealous or despise him. Paul, the main star of the video along featured with other social media stars as well as his friends known as Team 10. A month after the video’s release, it was already the tenth most disliked video on YouTube.
Despite Jake Paul is the most popular and hated person on YouTube at the same time, it would be superfluous to deny that in general as he is one of the fastest growing celebrities in pop culture right now.
